Terrorists - Burn them alive

Burn them alive ----- wait a minute....

Well yet another episode of serial bomb blasts in the city and yet another uprising of human emotion. But this time I stopped to think... Is there more to this than meets the eye....

Not too long ago we saw how Americans branded terrorists as people who were against freedom. They were people who were against the ideals liberty and justice... they were mentally disturbed people who were taken advantage of by negative elements of society... etc etc... Hmmm, it’s an interesting thought, but..... Most researches (including ones carried out by the Americans) show that these people have in fact a higher sense and need for freedom. These terrorists generally have well above average intelligence and very often are from well to do families. Then what is it that makes these people come up in arms against the established world order... Why are innocent people dying...

Most people like you and me live our lives primarily for ourselves... We look at injustice and other wrongs around us and convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do to make the world a better place... There are forces too large and too powerful for meek people like us to influence. So we let it pass... Live in this injustice – foster it... But what if one of us wants to do something about it... What if we have a Gandhi amongst us who wants to bring about a change in this miserable situation... Well then this small percentage of people try to be the change they want to see... they try to make the world a little less unequal place... but this very thought is against basic human nature... A person feels he “has” something special only when the people around him “do not have” the same thing... The joy is not in “having”, it is in having what others don’t have... And true equality would mean that everyone “has”... which means you are just as special as the next person which means you are not special at all... So any attempt to make everyone equally special will result in strong opposition from those who already are...

People like Gandhi take this on as a challenge and make the “world order” change. But we are a country with many heroes... The likes of Bhagat Singh and others believed that equality must be claimed, injustice must be fought irrespective of the means... Our history tells us that these men were revolutionaries... freedom fighters, but glance at the history of the British – each of these men were “terrorists”...
I do not know the reasons for why these new age terrorists are doing what they are doing but let’s not fool ourselves by claiming that these people are just mad people who are out on a mission of destruction. Let’s not be as stupid as the Americans who destroyed Afghanistan in their attempt to destroy Russia and are today wondering why these Afghans are so against them... India has made mistakes, Bombay has made them too and innocent people are paying the price – not because of these mindless terrorists but because of the nonsense that the average Indian is closing its eyes to... Jaago...

Speak up when innocent people die in sponsored riots...
Speak up when certain groups ruin the cosmopolitan nature of Bombay...
Speak up and become a part of the change that you ought to want...
Speak up and save these innocent people’s lives...

Jai Hind... Jai Bombay...
